So WordPress is essential part of any theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"alert message\">Here you can find official instructions for installing WordPress on your server step by step <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/article\/how-to-install-wordpress\/\">https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/article\/how-to-install-wordpress\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"changing-php-variables-self-managed-hosting\">Install WordPress on Self Managed Hosting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"alert warning\">Prerequisite: Make sure that you\u2019ve created database using MySQL already and have database name &amp; user credentials ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step-1-download-wordpress-on-your-server\">Step 1: Download WordPress on your server<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Here, you can find the instructions to install WordPress on self managed hosting\/server providers such as DigitalOcean, Google&#8217;s VM, Amazon&#8217;s EC2, Azure&#8217;s VM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Login to your instance through Terminal or Account&#8217;s Instance page.<\/li><li>Go to your &#8220;www&#8221; root directory. usually its <code>\/var\/www\/<\/code> for both Apache &amp; Nginx server.  <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>So type below syntax to browse to your www directory,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">cd \/var\/www\/<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>(Optional) If you want to install WordPress on specific subfolder, you can create and browse to wordpress directory using below syntax,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">sudo mkdir \/var\/www\/wordpress\ncd \/var\/www\/wordpress<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Now you need to download WordPress package by typing the below syntax and press enter<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">sudo wget https:\/\/wordpress.org\/latest.tar.gz<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>then extract wordpress tar file using below command,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">sudo tar -xzvf latest.tar.gz<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Now you can clean up the installation using below command, this is move files to correct directory and delete downloaded tar file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">mv wordpress\/*  .\/\nrm -rf wordpress latest.tar.gz<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Now you have downloaded and finish pre installation steps successfully .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step-1-download-wordpress-on-your-server\">Step 2: Install WordPress on your server<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve extracted tar file, you can go to your website <code>https:\/\/yourdomain.com\/wp-admin\/install.php<\/code> to start installation. Here yourdomain.com is to be replaced your actual domain name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now choose your desired language and proceed to next then fill all the details to finish installation.
