We recommend you to keep the theme up to date always. Theme update will include major/minor improvements/fixes on codes, options, functionalities, layouts, etc…

Things to consider before update:

• If you’ve renamed your theme folder, update will considered as fresh copy of theme and you can’t see any noticeable difference.
• We strongly recommend you to take a backup WordPress Installation directory & Database for recovery in case something went wrong. You can find instructions here /get-started/theme-update/

Method 1: Automatic Update

Prerequisite: Make sure that you’ve registered the theme Cartify before proceeding with next step. You can find instructions to register theme here

1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard and click Cartify -> Welcome menu from left side menu. Or you can directly go to this link yourdomain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=cartify Here yourdomain.com is to be replaced your actual domain name.
2. Now you can find the Theme information such as name, version, If there is any update available, you can see the button with text “Update Available” along with version. Just click to install new version of theme.
3. If you see “Go to Registration” button instead that means you need to register your license to avail automatic theme update.

Method 2: Manual Update

1. You need to download and extract the theme package(All files & documentation) from https://themeforest.net/downloads at themeforest.
2. And install theme over the current version. you can find instructions here /get-started/theme-installation/

Things to done after update:

Once the update process is done, navigate to Cartify -> Install Plugins menu from left side menu and verify whether you’ve all plugins are up to date as well.
